BILL BUCKNER HAD THE THREE WORST TURBULENT TRANSITS DURING HIS DISASTROUS 1986 WORLD SERIES |
The New York Mets was the Cinderella Team of the 1986 World Series. In fact, the Mets are considered one of the greatest Cinderella Team of all time because of their amazing come from behind miracle win in the sixth game of the 1986 World Series versus the Boston Red Sox. Down to their last out and last strike, the Mets pulled out the most memorable comeback in the history of the World Series. But they got help from the Red Sox players. In particular, the Red Sox's Bill Buckner gave the Mets the error they needed to open the Mets' Cinderella Gateway. Bill Buckner let a groundball slip through between his legs. It was supposed to be a sure out; instead Bill Buckner's error allowed the Mets to be Cinderellas, and made him the biggest goat in baseball history. There isn't a fanatical Red Sox fan that does not "hate Bill Buckner."
So what makes an athlete a scapegoat? Are there astrological signs that an athlete will play so poorly that he or she will be forever remembered for an abysmal performance? The answers are always in the stars and the stars' answers usually include Chiron.
In the Lessons on Magi Astrology that are available on the main page of this website, we explain that there are MAGIcal angles and there are Turbulent Angles. MAGIcal angles can create Golden Transits, whereas Turbulent angles can create Turbulent Transits. Bill Buckner did not have any Golden Transits during the 1986 World Series. Instead, Bill Buckner had three of the worst Turbulent Transits. The worst Turbulent Transits involve Chiron and Saturn, Chiron and Jupiter, and Chiron and Sun. We call them Turbulent Chiron Transits; Bill Buckner had all three of these worst transits. It was his worst moment. Ask any Red Sox fan.
Below is the Magi Astrology Transit Chart (MAT Chart) for Bill Buckner during the 1986 World Series.
In the above chart, the Turbulent Transits are highlighted in red. The most important ones are the three that involve Chiron and are marked "Turbulent Chiron Transit."
The Mets were behind the Red Sox 3-2 in games won. The Mets were behind 5-3 in the sixth game and it was the bottom of the 10th inning. They had no men on base and two outs. Their "last" batter Gary Carter had two strikes on him. Then they staged the greatest miracle comeback in World Series history as they scored three runs to win the game, and then won the World Series in the next game. This is the game that gave birth to the legend of Mets' "Magic" and gave credence to the Red Sox's "curse of the Babe." And Buckner was the most reviled player on the Red Sox team because he let a routine ground ball pass between his legs and let the winning run score. Poor Bill. But that is what Turbulent Chiron Transits can do.
