Sun Sign Astrology has lots of fans and it the most popular system of astrology in the West. Everyone knows their Sun Sign. Linda Goodman's book, Sun Signs, is still the most widely read astrology book ever published.
But Sun Sign Astrology is very limited in its capabilities and in fact does not even try expand its' horizons.
Sun Sign Astrologers are perfectly content in their rather narrow world.
But most of us have much higher hopes for astrology.
It may well be that many Geminis have more than one personality, and most Leos want to be the leader, but what most of us want to know are answers to really important questions such as:

Up until now, the principles of Magi Astrology we have revealed and taught has been Magi Astrology 101.
It is now time to take a giant leap forward and begin to learn about Magi Astrology 201.
Magi Astrology 101 has been wonderful for those who truly master it.
Magi Astrology 101 has taught us that besides the traditional planets (Mercury, Venus, through Neptune, Pluto), there are over a dozen planets and asteroids that are AstroBodies (AstroBody is our term for any planet, asteroid, solar system body that has strong astrological influences). Great examples of this are Chiron, ruler of TrueLove and Marriage, Midas, an asteroid that is primary ruler of money, and Eros, an asteroid that is ruler of the sexual climax.
Magi Astrology 101 uses midpoints made by two planets for transits and natal aspects and has taught us that whenever the transiting Jupiter/Chiron midpoint makes a trine, conjunction or parallel (any magical angle) to our natal Sun or Chiron, we will be get help from the planets in everything we do.
Even more important, we should begin important new endeavors during such transits because that would give the good transit a much longer life. (This is due to the power of Natalization - please click here to read more about natalization.)
But let us move on to Magi Astrology 201.
As the first lesson of Magi Astrology 201, we will discuss the concept of the MID DEGREE.
WHAT ARE MID DEGREES?
The Magi Society revealed Mid Degrees in our third book, Chapter 18 (which is the last chapter and not included in our free PDF download of the book.)
A Mid Degree is not the same as a MidPoint.
Midpoints have enormous power but Mid Degrees are even more powerful than Mid Points, and therefore more important than midpoints.
Below is a chart to help you understand MidDegrees and the difference between a midpoint and middegree:
The above chartwheel shows only two planets (Chiron and Saturn) and the Saturn/Chiron midpoint plus the Saturn_Chiron middegree.
To avoid confusion, Magi Astrology has the following rule:
Midpoints are written like this: Saturn/Chiron and Jupiter/Chiron
Whereas middegrees are written like this: Saturn_Chiron and Jupiter_Chiron.
In the above chartwheel, the position of the Saturn/Chiron midpoint Is represented by the glyph HK and the position of the Saturn_Chiron middegree is represented by the glyph S_.
The Saturn/Chiron midpoint is calculated as the actual point in the chartwheel that is equal distant from Saturn and Chiron.
The Saturn/Chiron midpoints (HK) is at 2.6 degrees of Aries and is 17.6 degrees away from Saturn and also 17.6 degrees away from Chiron.
The Saturn_Chiron midpoint is calculated differently. To get the Middegree of Saturn and Chiron we use
Start with the degree of Chiron (which is 19.9 in Aries)
and the degree of Saturn (15.3 in Pisces)
- then we divide by 2 and get 17.6 (19.9 plus 15.3 is 35.2 and when we divide 35.2 by 2 we get 17.6)
The middegree of Saturn and Chiron is 17.6 - we placed the glyph that represents the Saturn_Chiron middegree at 17.6 Aries.
Most of you reading this know that in Magi Astrology, the Saturn/Chiron midpoint as a transit is known as the Heartbreak Transit because it is can cause Heartbreak in one way or another. The heartbreak can come in matters of love, or money, or health, or turning a life upside down in some way.
We have been using the Saturn_Chiron middegree as a transit and we know that it has the same enormous disruptive power as the Saturn/Chiron midpoint transit. It is something you must be aware of in your day to day life and you must never natalize anything important when you have a middegree heartbreak transit to your Sun or Earth.
Below is one example you may study to learn how powerful the Saturn_Chiron middegree can be:
Superstar Quarterback Aaron Rogers Badly Injured
New York Jets fans were so excited when the Jets obtained superstar quarterback Aaron Rogers from the Green Bay Packers. Rogers signed a contract on July 26, 2023.
Hopes were sky-high and Jets fans could not wait for their new star player to play his first NFL game as a Jet.
The season opener was on September 11, 2023.
Unfortunately, on that day, the transiting Saturn_Chiron middegree was making a square to Aaron Rogers' natal Sun.
On the fourth play of the game, Aaron Rogers was sacked and injured - the injury was so bad that Aaron Rogers was unable to play for the rest of the season.
This is an example of heartbreak.
There are several reasons for the Aaron Rogers season ending injury but the main reason is that Aaron had horrible transits and the worst one was the Heartbreak Transit made by the Saturn_Chiron middegree, as shown in the Magi Astrology chart below:
Aaron Rogers suffered a season ending injury on the fourth play of the Jets' first game and did not play again for the whole season.
The main astrological reason for the horrific injury were two transits made by the transiting Saturn_Chiron middegree - which was square to Aaron's natal Sun and natal Uranus.
The middegree is one of the Magi Society's many amazing discoveries - no other astrologer has ever published any book or article in an astrology magazine that proposed the existence of middegrees. The Magi Society's third book (published in 1999) has a whole chapter about middegrees. It is chapter 15, a chapter not included in our free PDF copy of our third book but is in the actual book itself.
Aaron Rogers signed his Jets contract on a day when he was having horrible Middegree transits.
